Travel Theme: Benches of San Juan Capistrano

Ailsa of Where’s My Backpack’s travel challenge is “Benches“.

Benches are one of those things that can provide relief to aching backs or sore legs when you travel. Without them, we are lucky if we can find a rock or a wood trunk to rest, catch our breath as you watch the world go by.

One of my favorite places is San Juan Capistrano. I was grateful that they have benches strategically placed throughout.

  4. I totally agree with you that benches or rocks or wooden trunks are what we are looking for while hiking, especially in the hill, mountain, and forest

We all need to pause to appreciate the view and our surroundings, or to contemplate what we are seeing. A bench would be a luxury when we’re hiking but it is not always there – we make do. Thanks smilewanderer.
