A Word-In-Your-Ear Photo Challenge: Roof

A Word-In-Your-Ear Challenge for the week is Roof. Unfortunately, I find the roofs around me to be so boring in their uniformity. With the proliferation of subdivisions and naturally new homes, their roofs are indistinguishable from the other.

This is the Round Barn Theatre in Nappanee, Indiana. This was taken during a weekend spent in Shipshewana, in the Amish country. One day, my aunt and I drove to check quilt gardens which were located in a dozen different towns and we made a lunch stop in Nappanee. Unfortunately we were too early for a show and we still had a long way to go to our B&B. This round barn certainly captured my eye.

What a great barn … round – well caught. Saw the other day that we have got a new winery that has built their business round too – like a wine barrel. Love the details in the roof here. Excellent choice and photo.
