1 Day 1 World Project: 12:00 – 1:00 pm

Northwest Frame of Mind started a new photo challenge titled above. To see her blog about it, please go here. I think it is a very interesting concept and it should be fun to know and see what’s going on at different parts of the world at this time.

Yesterday I went for an errand at the nearby Starbucks. The day was actually nicer than today even though they said it was going to be in the 80s but it never got that warm.

The Starbucks across our building is by the Chicago River. I took a peek at what was going on at the river and to see the view west of the loop. There was a tourist boat approaching which I think was the second I saw this season. Am sure the operators are not too happy with the weather as who would want to go on the boat at a cold and windy day.

This was noontime yesterday.

  1. Thanks for sharing part of your day with us! Starbucks and a river view sound like a great way to pass some time. 🙂

Haha, a river cruise. I was just talking about these on my River post this week 🙂 Which city are you in?

  4. bebs1 says:

Hi Jude, am in Chicago. We have river and lake cruises here.

  5. Heyjude says:

Must be lovely to take a lake cruise.

I’ve always enjoyed short cruises. I haven’t been on an ocean cruise. The short cruises, because of their proximity to land, gives you different perspective on the landscape if you are into photography.
