Merry month of May

365 Project: Day 126

The first weekend of May I found myself attending to two happy celebrations. Saturday was the wedding of my friend/co-worker’s daughter and Sunday, a christening of a nephew.

The bride was lovely and the groom was good looking. They are a perfect match and seemed so in-love. I believe all weddings are happy occasions that needs to be celebrated with family and friends.

It so happened that the wedding was held at St. Bernadine, a church not too far from home so I was able to witness it. The reception was in the suburbs where most of the people went.

The mother-of-the-bride was ecstatic that everything went smoothly. She looked lovely herself and the father was feeling sentimental, how could he not, a father always dotes on their daughter.

Everything was well thought out. There were even activities for all the guests like coloring a tiny book which of course was wedding-themed. I got a list of 10 things I needed to picture which kept me busy. And there was dancing which we badly needed after the abundance of our dinner and a dessert table loaded with Italian sweets.

Here are some photos taken at the wedding.
