If you could make a 15 second speech to the entire world, what would you say?
We all could live in this world harmoniously despite our many differences in culture, religion, language, race, etc. We all value the same things, we could learn and share from each other. Respect our diversity and celebrate them.
If you could take a photograph, paint a picture or write a story of any place in the world, what and where would it be?
It would be a small town in Northern Philippines where my father came from. It has history as the second oldest Spanish city in the country and it is a scenic place, at the foot of the mountain and bordered by the South China Sea and the Abra River.
Life is not always easy. The delta gets flooded after heavy rains, eroding portions of land and in the upper part of town, the soil is arid and dry but the people are hard-working and God-fearing.
Many left the country to seek their fortune in other countries but they always go back because they are drawn by the beauty of the place where they came from.
If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single store but could remove nothing, which store would you pick?
How about Harrod’s in London. It would be interesting to see what the greatest store on earth offers.
If you were given a boat or yacht today, what would you name it? (You can always sell the yacht later)
I think I would name it after my mother.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
My BIL (brod-in-law) was hospitalized last week due to very high potassium which they say could affect one’s heart and many die from it. Am grateful that he had a chance to be brought to the hospital after his doctor found out. He is still in the hospital but at least he’s improving, although slow.
It would be such a relief when he goes home and rehabilitated back to normal.
Am looking forward to my nieces’ graduation celebration this weekend.
