My entry to Lisa’s Photo Challenge, to see more go here.
This is the view from the shuttle bus after work. I haven’t taken the bus around Chicago for a very long time and particularly not going south of State Street. There were a lot of things that were new to me and I realize am missing some interesting parts of our city.
That purple light is probably better seen after dark. They are planted among the garden plots on South State Street. The light emits a soft lavender glow that moves slowly up and down. I wonder how it would appear when the plants have grown among them, they probably would look like lavender cat tails.
At five pm though the traffic was horrible which was probably how I was able to enjoy and appreciate the sights more. It took us almost an hour to get to our destination which would have normally been a 15-minute car ride.
