This stone structure was set apart from the rest of the different cottages at the resort. We passed by it on our walk to take photos of the sunset. From a distance, the front has big windows and French doors to make the most of the sunset as it faces west. Therefore this is the east side which backs the mountain side and all one sees are the meadows of wildflowers and majestic trees.
The windows are deep and small I guess to preserve the heat. The house is on the side of the mountain so down below is the garage and a street.

It is! I am sure it is warm in that house because it is cool in Shenandoah being high up in the mountains. We did catch the a spectacular sunset.
