This is my first time to join Jude’s Bench Series Challenge. Want to join in, see the rules here. Jude’s blogsite is Travel Words.
For this month, the theme is wood benches.
The bench is in the Guadalupe Chapel at the back of the San Juan de Bautista Mission Church. The chapel is quite large and has a separate side entrance at the rear. I was disappointed that it was cordoned off. It is a beautiful chapel but all the pictures I took are fuzzy. But I like how this turned out.
Beautiful photo, Bebs! Great lighting, and I love the angle you took.

Thank you. I think that’s the only photo I could appreciate that I took from the chapel.

This is a lovely shot, Bebs. š I think Jude’s been inundated with benches but she’ll like this one.

It was very dark in the church so I’m not surprised your photos were blurry.

Must be a lot of benches by now Jo. What are the chances that she’d been in the same place? But then again she’s traveled a lot. Thank you!

Jude, really! I wish the chapel was open for everyone to worship, it was hard to get a great angle. Fortunately the church was okay, I will write something about my visit too. Like you I try to visit as many missions as I can when I am in California.

Well there is one in Carmel and this one. They are worth visiting on your way to SanFran. I went to Sta. Cruz and Soledad but they are too small, not as grand.
