Daily Post Photo Challenge: Intricate

Here’s my interpretations of the week’s photo challenge: Intricate.

High school kids do the intricate steps of the Dutch Dance at the annual Tulip Festival in Holland Michigan.

An old wooden trunk with intricate designs from the Spanish era (construction started in 1765) and baldosa floor tiles of the Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion Church in Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, a UNESCO Heritage Site.

I remember this to be a ring but looking at it now it must have been a brooch. Displayed at the Fields Museum, Chicago, Illinois.

All great selections for the theme of intricate. I can’t help smile at the joy on the dancers faces.

All high school kids – must be all of them from Holland high schools. They even hold reunions.

I think that was the highlight of that day trip.
