My entry to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge for the Week: Purple.

Thomas Jefferson, the fifth president of the country, has been known as an avid gardener. He once proclaimed, “no occupation is so delightful to me as the culture of the earth, and no culture comparable to that of the garden.”

The historic garden is a botanic showpiece of different species of plants from all over the world which is still maintained 200 years later.

  17. It was GORGEOUS here today! No rain, sunny, breezy 78-81 degrees Fahrenheit..but with a breeze…every day should be like this..or just the days I am off work.
