This is my entry to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge for the week.
We were on our way out of Point Pinos Lighthouse in Pacific Grove when we bumped into this big family of deer. They must be foraging for food; however, they stumbled by the residential area and then ran to the golf course but beyond that was the ocean so they were basically trapped.
I haven’t seen this many deer even in the wild and in their own habitat they are very elusive. They must sense the danger because they stuck together – even they knew there’s strength in number.
Great pictures – I haven’t seen so many deer at one time either!

I know. I really felt sorry that they got lost but on the other hand they are fortunate that they are protected from human predators.

I think they felt trapped because behind them is a house and then the street Dorothy but they they eventually were able to get away.
