My entry to Ailsa’s challenge for the week: Land meets water. Go here for more photos.

I am with her because I too, am fascinated with scenes of water meeting land or vice versa. My dream is to live as close to a body of water – there’s something magical about it. It would be nice to wake up at such sight, the sound, the birds, boats, flowers, everything else.

I love being by the water too! Perhaps one day. This gallery is beautiful. I think I can feel the breeze off the water. 🙂

  9. Living beside water can be a magical, very special experience. It can also sometimes be fairly scary – when storms rage and boats and even piers get smashed with the force of waves. I lived beside a sea loch for about 14 years, leaving eventually, partly because the loch was a barrier to travel elsewhere, costly to cross, and limited by ferry times.
