The Daily Post Photo Challenge: Fresh – Candy canes

Before the Christmas party our office building owners gave their tenants I’ve never had fresh candy canes, much more see how they are made. The only candy canes I’ve ever tasted were the ones from the grocery or drug stores. I wonder how long they’ve been on stock there – long could be a couple of weeks.

Thanks to them we witnessed how the candies were made from scratch.

My entry to the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge which this week is Fresh.

Oh am sure most are made by machines Sue. Can you imagine hiring so many hands to keep up with demands every Christmas? These guys are probably from a boutique candy store.

You know I didn’t really get to taste it. Not too crazy with candies but am sure it is good because it was esp. made for us, not factory made.
