We are all suffering from internet withdrawal. The wi-fi here at the hotel only worked this morning and the two teen-agers goofed around with my computer to keep themselves amused.
There is no tv but if I count everything that we’re missing to what we are used to having from our homes, then this is no vacation. I told my aunt, we are supposed to be communing with nature and immersing ourselves in its beauty.
Of course our enthusiasm is a bit dampened by the intermittent showers.
Driving from Missoula yesterday, we had a mix of weather – at some point it was sunny, then it would drizzle which gave me enough practice to get used to the various knobs of our rental car.
Avis gave us a very new car with just 20 miles in it. So new that we must be the first renters and now the car suddenly looking dirty and battered from all that rain – it is now covered in mud I just want to give it a thorough washing from the many lakes we passed by.
The first time I came this way, we drove from Seattle so my cousins who happened to be my hosts, drove me here. It was beautiful then but we must be passing a different way and am seeing the place with the eyes of a first timer.
Enjoy your vacation Lou, I love those pics. Parang ang sarap mag explore diyan 🙂

Enjoy your trip and vacation. Great photo and I’m sure there will be more coming. And I hope the sun will arrive where you’re – heard so much about Montana’s beauty. Drive safe.

Montana is really beautiful! We just drove today from Glacier National Park to Helena, the capitol, and it is so green, the roads are walled by tall old pines, and on our right are numerous lakes and in the background are snowcapped mountains. So pretty!

We flew in to Missoula. We are attending a wedding here next Friday and we’ll get a chance to discover Missoula the next day. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it.

Thank you Viveka. We cut short our stay at Glacier National Park because of the rain although yesterday it was so beautiful and when we left this morning, the sun was out. The one day we cut, we’ll use to see the Grand Tetons.
