There is a meme going around in FB where a person nominates you to post B/W photos for five days and also picking 5 people to do the same.
Above is my first post, a photo I took on our way to Glacier National Park from Colorado in June last year. It was my second visit to GNP. Unfortunately we were there too early and Going-to-the-Sun Road was still closed. That is also the way to go to the Canadian side of the park so I was not able to show to my companions the other highlights of GNP which I love so much.
I would still want to go back there, next time at the middle of summer although on my first trip with my cousins (2003) there was a huge wildfire at the park at that time when a big swath of forest was damaged. You can’t really win with nature.

The snow really sets off those beautiful mountains.

I love seeing snow capped mountains esp. at the height of summer. I think they really add to the beauty of the mountain.

That is why I love Glacier National Park Amy. They say it is the crown jewel of the US National Park System and I believe they’re right. It must be nice to own that cottage.

I was very grateful when my cousins first brought me there. Try to spend a few days there because the GNP is so big and so many things to see and do. Do stay inside the park too to save you time in driving around to places. You won’t regret it.

I love b&w photos where snow is involved, makes the snow stand out! Its a lovely challenge as some people never take b&w photos and miss out on such a beautiful way to capture the world out there.

It is a challenge for me to take b/w Janaline. Good thing that it is easy to convert a photo in color to b/w.
